Fast Screen Recorder Guide

Everything you need to know to capture your screen effortlessly.

1. Introduction

Fast Screen Recorder is an easy-to-use screen recording tool for Windows. You can use it to record meetings, tutorials, gameplay, and any other screen activity with or without audio.

2. Recording Your Screen

  1. Launch Fast Screen Recorder from your desktop or start menu.
  2. Choose your recording area: Full Screen, With or without taskbar, or Custom Area.
  3. Enable Webcam, Microphone or System Audio if needed.
  4. Click the REC button or press the default hotkey (alt+ctrl+shift+s) to start recording.
  5. To stop recording, click the Stop button or press default hotkey (alt+ctrl+shift+s) again.

3. Managing Audio Options

You can record your microphone, system audio, both, or neither. Click the microphone/speaker icons on the main interface to toggle them on or off. Click the drop-down arrow next to the icons to select specific audio devices.

4. Settings and Hotkeys

Go to Settings > Hotkeys to customize your shortcut keys for starting, stopping, pausing, and taking screenshots. You can also change the video output frame rate and quality from the Settings menu.
